Your training logstays yours
Last updated 25 September 2026 · Version 3- Everything you log is yours. It is used to show you your own training and to work out what to recommend next. Nothing else.
- Nothing is sold. Nothing is shared with advertisers. There is no advertising in this app.
- You can delete all of it from inside the app, at any time, without asking anyone.
- Health information is only collected because you typed it in, and only after you have said yes to that specifically.
Who runs this
Lift My Best Life is built and run by an independent developer.

The app is intended for use in the United States.
What is collected
Because you entered it:
- Your name or nickname, and your email address
- Your unit preference, weekly training target, and training goal
- Every workout you log: exercises, weights, reps, warmups, how each exercise felt, and when
- Cardio sessions: activity, duration, intensity, and optionally distance
- Weight and body measurements, if you choose to record them
- Height and sex, if you choose to provide them, used only to estimate body composition
- Goals you set, notes you write, and check-ins including pain ratings if you use an injury-related goal
- If you set up an injury goal: the area, whether it is restricted or being worked around, which side, roughly when it happened, and how it feels after workouts
- Pregnancy or postpartum status and the relevant dates, if you turn on pregnancy mode
- That you have asked the app to keep effort lower, if you turn that mode on. The app does not ask why
- Your answers to the health-readiness check at signup, and any confirmation that a healthcare provider has cleared you for a feature
Automatically:
- Which device platform and app version you are using, when you send feedback or a crash report
- Standard server logs kept by the hosting provider
Not collected:
- Location. The app never asks for it
- Photographs. The app does not take or store images
- Contacts, calendar, microphone, or anything from other apps
- Data from Apple Health, Google Fit, or any wearable
Health information, and why it is asked about separately
Weight, body measurements, estimated body fat, pain ratings, injury details, pregnancy or postpartum status, a request to keep effort lower, and your health-readiness answers are health information. The app asks about storing those in a step of their own, rather than folding it into a general agreement, because it is a meaningfully different thing to agree to.
You can decline and still use the app. You simply will not be able to record weight, measurements or injury-related goals, or use pregnancy mode or the lower-effort mode. You can change your mind later by deleting your data in Settings.
What it is used for
- Showing you your own history
- Working out what weight or reps to recommend next
- Noticing plateaus, long breaks, and personal bests
- Estimating body composition from measurements you provided
- Estimating the energy cost of a session
Every one of those runs for you, on your data, to give you back something about your own training. None of it builds a profile for anyone else, trains any model, or makes decisions about you beyond what weight to suggest.
There is no advertising in this app, and health data is never used for marketing.
Who else sees it
Supabase hosts the database and handles sign-in. They store data on our behalf and cannot use it for their own purposes. Servers are in us-west-2 (Oregon, United States).
That is the whole list. Data is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers, data brokers, insurers or employers.
How long it is kept
Data stays until you delete it. There is no automatic expiry, because a training log is only useful over years.
If the app is ever shut down, users will get reasonable notice and all data will be deleted.
What you can do
All of this is in the app, under Settings → Data and account options:
- See it — everything is visible in the app. Ask for a copy in a file if you want one
- Delete it — “Clear my training history” removes what you logged. “Delete all my data” removes everything
- Correct it — edit any logged set, measurement or goal directly
For anything not available in the app, email [email protected].
Friends and challenges
If you connect with someone by exchanging codes, they can see your display name, whether you have used the app in the last couple of minutes, and your progress and result in any challenge you both joined. Nothing else is shared: not your workouts, weight, measurements, goals or health information. Challenges never include health data. A message you attach to a challenge is stored and shown to the people in that challenge. You can remove or block a connection from the Friends screen at any time; blocked people cannot see you or contact you again.
We do not sell personal information and have no plans to.
If you live in Washington, Nevada, Connecticut or another state with a consumer health data law: the health information above is collected only with your separate consent, used only for the purposes listed, never sold or shared with advertisers, and deletable by you from Settings. To exercise any right those laws give you, email [email protected]. [ATTORNEY TO CONFIRM this section against the Washington My Health My Data Act and similar laws.]
Security
- Traffic between the app and the server is encrypted in transit
- The database uses row-level security, so your rows are readable only by your account
- Your password is hashed by the authentication provider and is never visible to us
No system is perfect. If a breach ever affects your data, you will be told promptly.
Children
This app is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account, and accounts should not be created for anyone younger. If we learn a child’s data has been collected, it will be deleted.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects how your data is used, the app will ask you to read and accept the new version. Minor wording fixes will just update the date at the top.
